PlaneNoise was founded in 2007 to provide airports with better tools for managing noise complaints and community concerns. Since then, the company has developed and supported noise complaint programs for airports and heliports across the United States and Canada.
Today, Complaint Box provides the core platform for collecting, managing, analyzing, and responding to aviation noise complaints. Complaint Box Intelligence, introduced in 2026, extends the platform with advanced data analysis and AI-powered insights to help airport staff identify patterns, understand community concerns, and support more effective noise management.
